Commuters have been warned to allow for extra travel time after a person was spotted along train tracks just before peak hour.
All trains were brought to a halt outside of Redfern Station in Sydney after emergency services were notified of the man on the tracks about 3pm on Tuesday.
NSW Police confirmed it received reports of a potential self harm incident and arrived at the scene to transport the man to hospital without injury.
While he has been taken off of the tracks, Sydney Trains have warned a number of train lines are expected to still be delayed throughout peak hour.
The T1, T2, T3, T8 and T9 lines are already experiencing delays with while some trains may stops may change at short notice.
Sydney Trains urged commuters to listen to announcements while at their platform and to check information screens or transport apps before boarding.

A train guard could be heard telling commuters the man was on the ‘wrong side of the Cleveland Street bridge’, the Daily Telegraph reports.
He also revealed that overhead power had been cut while waiting for the man to be removed safely.
